You are not an arrogant ass for speaking your mind freely, I like and respect that part of you. You are arrogant though for having the audacity to think that you are too good to worry about the health of our environment. You are arrogant for thinking that you could be anything without this earth. You are arrogant for thinking that you can just go on with your life and ignore the facts that are staring you right in the face. You are arrogant because you think that humans are the only important being on this planet. And finally, you are arrogant if you think that we can continue living the life we are living without paying the consequences for our arrogance.

But in the interest of our friendship, I will let the issue drop. I apologize for approaching you so hostilely about it as you will now probably not listen to a single thing I've said. But, I've simply been too tense lately and you happened to be the first who crossed my path. Again, I apologize and hope we can restart a civil conversation from here.

I have a challenge.

I want proof. I want proof that George W. Bush is personaly responsible for a company who polutes the world. I want to see a person who lost their job because of something the president did. I hear all this blame and I read articles but I never hear proof. So this is my challeng. It is a friendly one. I am not attacking you. I do believe that Bush has been responsible for things changing. But I never hear proof.

In answer to your first challenge: go to the Leauge of Conservation Voters website www.lcv.org

In answer to your second challenge: Here is a great dubya quote, "outsourcing is good for America"

Ok let me start off by saying, you as well as the people of the LCV should read Article 2 section 2 of this very important document...

http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#A2Sec2

I would take the time to read all the articles of that document, most people don't remember learning it.

Ok, now that you are done reading that. What does any of these issues have to do with the President of the United States? It has more to do with Congress if anything. The LCV trys to push blame on legislation that has passed in a Ecologist majority House and Senate on the President. So of course we are going to ignor that fact that at any given time in the last 4 years in the House, 6 Democrats would have had to vote for these topics along with all the republican and independed Reps. Along with 2 Democrats would have had to sway into the pro-polution side or Dick Chaney would of had to vote in the event of a tie (he hasn't done that yet since he has been VP). Both of these things would have to occur before George W would even see a bill from Congress to sign.

Something tells me you should chastise those trators from our own party before you go blaming those who don't switch sides.

Yes Kurt, I realize that the issues have to be approved in Congress first. And yes, I realize that congressmen, even democrats, are just as ignorant and offensive when it comes to the environment. I never said that I loved them either. Did I mention that I am constantly writing letters and emails and signing petitions to be sent to them? However, if we had a more environmentally sound president then many of those poor decisions would be cut off at his level and not as much damage would be done. However, instead of stopping unsound environmental action, he condones it and endorses it. That is how he is to blame. That is the main reason why I detest him leading my country, becasue he is leading it into a hole.
