Broken

I was all set to go to class this morning. Not looking terribly forward to it, considering it was only one lab and I assumed that we weren't going to be doing much other than getting the syllabus. So I would be doomed to sit around and wait for my ride for hours as always. Nevertheless I was resigned to my fate and had thought of several lovely things to do, including sleep. I trundled wearily to the car but as my Dad started it and I heard, of all things, a terrible noise. It sounded somewhat like icicles shattering but it was coming from under the hood. Well, it stopped and we went on our merry way... And promptly turned the car back around and parked it in the driveway. The fan belt had snapped. This wonderful frigid weather had done it in. So I am skipping my first bio lab, hopefully we really weren't doing anything yet.... And Dad took the day off to get the car fixed on account of wounded vehicle.

Practice yesterday was awesome by the way. Unfortunately we will probably be ceasing our indoor practicing due to lack of donations. We simply can't afford the hall if no one helps out. Sigh, oh well, I was planning on fighting on campus Monday nights anyways. Goodbye Rausumea, I'll see you in the spring.
