It certainly has been an interesting start to the new year. It promises to continue that way as well. I am very glad I decided to go to the New Year's Party. I really had a blast! It was nice just hanging out with my friends, I definitely don't get to do that often enough. I reinforced some old friendships, built some strong new relationships, and sadly had an old on go up in flames. But life moves on and the new year beckons.

My resolutions for the year include getting my liscence so I can be slightly more independent, getting the animal care internship, getting into better shape, getting back into better practice with my swordfighting, making time to visit friends more often so I don't seem to fall off the face of the earth, and simply in general trying to be more relaxed about most aspects of my life. Things simply go better when I relax and go with the flow. Not everything has to become a life altering moment, not everything has to be absolutely perfect. Life is beautiful and I want to just breath it all in without worrying about the intricacies of every second. Such as simply kissing a beautiful girl when she offers rather than declining because someone might think it is undignified. It's the little moments in life that really make it worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make this past year so wonderful. I look forward to growing and learning more in the coming 2005 amongst you my friends and family.
