But I'm not so oh well...

Guess what, I got the job on the show staff at the zoo for this summer! Yay!!!! Now I just hope the starting date isn't too far away because I dunno if I can stand interpreting in Australia much longer... Or rather if it's much like yesterday at work, standing around being bored and frickin cold in Australia for no damn good reason because they opened Australia too early this year and no one in their right minds goes to the zoo in freezing weather like that. As Dan put it, I was freezing my frickin echidnas off!

And now I'm sick... Yay! *sarcasm* I hate being sick. I'd managed to fight this off for soooo long damnit. I guess Saturday's rolling in the mud combined with yesterdays freezing was just too much for my immune system. *pout* I hate being sick.

But speaking of Saturday's rolling in the mud, Winter Wolf was an awesome feast!!! The fighting was a blast and I was kicking so much ass! I won my first tournament ever! I beat the amazing Awen and the stunning Sakura in the Valkyrie Tournament and won the most beautiful hand axe. =) And after the fighting, I went to change into my feast garb and realized I had forgotten my chemise! Awen and Ori to the rescue! They managed to sew me a skirt in no time flat. I don't know what I would have done without them. And then Melemae and I won the Bardic Tourney. =) That was a great feeling, singing in front of an audience again. And after the food, Queen Bob taught us some more belly dancing. Woohoo! She is too cool. All in all, it was the best feast ever! Great fighting, great music, great food, great fun, and best of all, great people!

Well... Time for Bio lecture...
I can't wait for SCA practice tonight. =) Yay for beating people with sticks!
