Well, I was just about to write about how miffed I was because I haven't been able to find my digital camera since Christmas when I opened the drawer under my computer and Voila, there it was! This day keeps getting better and better. I've accomplished quite a bit today. I cleaned and did a lot of laundry. I hung out and had lunch with the devine Miss Em. And I convinced my Mother to go to Akron Zoo and apply for a keeper position. While she was there she got to talking with some of her old friends who still work there and they are totally excited that she is reapplying. It apparently looks pretty good that she'll get a position! I am so elated because my Mom has missed keeping so much and I know this will make her incredibly happy.

On a related note, I need to get my act together and put in my application for the animal care internship at Cleveland. I finally finished my resume and cover letter and I'm reasonably happy with them but I'm just so terrified that I'll be rejected. But I guess I can't get the job if I don't apply. So tomorrow at work I'm just going to have to hunt down Ken Pekaric and let him know he needs to give me the job ;) Wish me luck.
