I am going to Africa!

No, seriously!

One of the members of the group that was going with my Mom in August cancelled and because they had booked group fares, if they changed the number of the group now, the price would increase astronomically. So, in a desperate attempt to fill the spot, one of the members of the group amazingly offered to loan me the money (after much begging and dealing on my part).

And, get this, I would not have even considered myself able to pay back the loan if I hadn't just today received a letter from the University announcing that they were not only renewing my scholarship but effectively doubling it as well! So, all the money I make this summer is no longer tied up in school fees and can instead be used to pay installments back to my gracious patron.

So psyced!
Terrified I may wake up and find this all a dream!

Want to scream!
Want to hug everyone!
