Shadows in the Spring Sunlight

I ought to be studying for my organic chemistry test but I am too busy basking in the delighted knowledge that I have finished my honors proposal and simply have to get signatures from the people who have agreed to be my evaluation committee! It feels good to get things accomplished!

I have two shadows tugging at my heart today. One is quiet and gentle and sang Gwar with me, been a part of my life for 10 years but we never met until this past month. The other is charming and artistic and can always make me smile. I wonder if either of them will ever know how I much I care for them.

Sigh, well since that thought has my mind stuck in silent contemplation and wistful wishes, I will attempt to turn my attention to my studys instead. Wish me luck on my test tomorrow.
