The End of a Season

Well friends, my internship duties are officially over. I finished data entry last Friday (it took forever!), finished analyzing the data and putting together a power point presentation around 5pm today, finished the end of the year meeting at 9ish, and finished getting drunk with my friends a few minutes ago. I am both exhilarated and a little sad that it is officially over. It was such an amazing summer. I met amazing people, worked with amazing animals, and pushed myself to the limit. I really feel that I have grown a lot over the summer both spiritually and mentally and cannot wait for the next challenge that life has to offer. I am also amazed that I am typing intelligibly after drinking this evening! =)

I am fairly sure that none of my DC friends read this blog, but if they did, I would want them to know how much it means to me that they have let me into their wonderful social circle. I have never met a group of people so intelligent, witty, and accepting as you. I thank you all dearly for the framed GLT picture. I will treasure it always!

To my friends and family back in Ohio, I miss you all dearly. I could never have made it through this summer without your loving support. Thank you all! I look forward to sharing my next adventures with you as well!
