So.... I just got a nifty chemical burn in chem lab. My wrist started burning terribly during my experiment so I looked down and this huge red, angry looking welt had formed. I immediately washed it with soap and water and went to go back to my experiment but this thing hurt like a proverbial bitch! So I went and showed the TA and she freaked out and dragged me (literally dragged, she almost made me fall on my face) over to the sink. She doused the sucker with tons of some chemical that had some stupid long name that was a base after she had determined it was an acid burn because it was burning not itching. She thinks it was the Hydrogen sulfide which was like "a really strong acid" as she kept saying... Lol, leave it to me to burn things at any opportunity.
