Last night I got to sing a four day old baby to sleep! He is the most precious little bundle of life... And his poor mum was so tired, I'm ecstatic that I could give her a break. =)

And then I babysat for little Ayden and she was adorable. At about 1 am she woke up and started crying. I walked in to pick her up from the crib, she saw I wasn't her mom and she just plopped right back down and went to sleep. She did this twice more before she decided I was good enough and she fell asleep in my lap after I gave her a bottle.

I adore children, they are simply so vibrant and just radiate life!

Dayen in the air! Posted by Hello

This is me at practice today! I had a great time. I am really getting back into enjoying fighting. And I can see myself improving too. Especially after fighting Dayen one on one quite a bit today. He is a phenomenal fighter! And damn is he fast! I've already picked up a few moves just from fighting him tonight but I'm going to have to make him teach me his zenlike moves. I mean, look at the man(above), he rocks!

And it was great seeing Awen! I've missed her so much. Plus it's always nice not to be the only female on the field.

Ok, well unfortunately after my 3 day hiatus from the real world I have to work 12 hours tomorrow. Sigh I knew it was too good to be ture but how I managed to get 3 days off in a row I'll never know.

I had a wonderful day at Toledo Zoo today. It is always exciting for me to explore a zoo that I have never been to before but Toledo is an especially nice zoo. All the exhibits were spacious and well attired, and the animals were all very active and looked happy. I had a great time. They have beautiful white lions, an adorable baby elephant, and a phenomenal bird collection. It is definitely a zoo that goes near the top of my list.

I'm off to cover my new beautiful swords, (thanks Fodder!), for practice tomorrow.

And just to remind myself... The most important thing in life is to just live. Relax and see where the tides take you, if you swim too hard you'll only tire yourself faster and have nothing left when the shore is in sight. Trust in life and simply live.

The feast was a blast btw, I'll have the pics posted soon.

After the feast I went to Fodder's house and saw The Crow. I can't believe I've never seen that movie! I enjoyed it a lot, as well as Fodder's company.

And then after work the next day I promptly went to sleep and just woke up after about 19 hours of sleep. Yikes! There goes my weekend, but it was great. I guess I'm entitled to a little oversleeping since I will be back to school and going insane again next week.

I once again got to give injections to kangaroos yesterday, as well as cleaning the exhibit and making their diets. Woohoo. Laurie, the kangaroo keeper, is so awesome! I am so glad she is my friend.

Well, gotta run for now...
