Procrastinating

I should be studying right now but instead I am finding mindless activities to distract myself. Life makes me smile =)

The sunshine outside is amazingly beautiful and if I didn't know better I would think it was actually warm out there... I hope the weather takes a kick back up to warmth at least once more before fall and winter. I reluctantly closed my windows last night for the first time this season.

Oh, speaking of winter... I fed a polar bear last weekend! As the huge creature (whose name is Little One despite having a head three times bigger than mine) was licking my fingers through the bars of the cage the keeper non-chalantly informed me that this animal would not hesitate to eat me if given the chance. It's one of the few animals in the zoo that would not even think twice about it or play with you first. It makes sense though, they are known to sometimes stalk and eat humans in the wild and in such a baron environment, if you are presented with a chance to eat, you take it no matter what the species! I have an amazing respect for this animal now more then ever and it gives new meaning to the keeping rule of always making sure there are 2 locked doors between you and the animal. And he licked my fingers. Too cool.

Whichever snot nosed bastard that created the virus that turned my computer into a worthless block of silicon better watch out because he or she has a major wave of bad karma heading their way! Dad has spent the past week or so chasing down the seemingly endless places that this bugger had stuck itself into my harddrive and finally last night, the cussing stopped, and my computer was ressurected! I am so proud of my daddio. Lesson learned: back up all files routinely!

I'm sitting in the student union between classes right now using a rented laptop (because I still don't have mine *grumble*). Shatterhaze just walked by and graced me with this bit of ancient wisdom. "A chicken and an egg are having sex and suddenly you hear the chicken moan Buck buck buck buck Buck! And now you know, the chicken came first."

My brain hurts...

Huggles!

Ps. I get to beat on people with foampadded sticks tonight! Yay!
