Yearning for the End of the World
Well herpetology went well today. I caught a water snake which bit the guy next to me. It was pretty cool though I slightly wish I had been bit. Weird I know, but I've always wondered what a snake bite feels like. I am pretty sure I will get bit by the end of the class though. *smirk* It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to the rest of the class. Apparently we will be taking a big field trip (assuming I can get the days off of work) down to the Florida Bayous and the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee to catch herps! It sounds like a blast, rough camping and catching cool critters.
I guess I would say that this class is worth missing most of Ragnarok... I guess... lol. I just talked to Brandon on the phone a little bit ago. Apparently Captain is planning on getting him drunk tonight and I so desperately want to be there to play too. Sigh. One more day of work and one more day of class left and then I can join them. And Captain promised to "catch me up" when I get there which I translate to "get me smashed off my arse". I just keep thinking that I could be there right now drinking, socializing, bellydancing, and then snuggling all night with my favorite pirate (and if you have to ask which pirate I mean, then shame on you). I missed the Wolf Caller battle today and some good fighting with upwards of 400 people already (800 already signed in when I dropped off my siblings yesterday night woohoo!) But I did manage to catch my boy's first successful assassination in the tourney. It was so cute and it was all I could do to stop kissing his cheeks that were blushed from some of his first drinking ever.
Ah well, other then my class today, I was completely non-productive and slept as soon as I got home from class. I think I needed it though and am off to sleep some more now. Painting and sewing will have to wait for tomorrow night.
Huggles! I am off to dream of sunny green battlefields and starry nights emblazened by firepits.
