Finding Neverland

What a divine mind it took to write that idea into existence. Believe in something hard enough and long enough and it will be true. Everyone should believe in faeries, reserve a seat in your heart for an orphan, and live everyday with a smile before the ticking crocodile gets you too...

The first day of the show at the Zoo on Saturday went delightfully. I was so proud of all our animals and the people loved it, even if the script was a bit corny. =) It's going to be a great summer.

Speaking of animals, I'm trying to think of a hypothesis to research at the Raptor Center this summer while I'm volunteering so I can get college credit for it and possibly publish a paper. I'm very excited but not quite sure yet what I want to research. People have suggested everything from as mundane as survival rates of rehabiliated hawks to as complicated as DNA and telomeres... I just have to decide what is both worth researching but also practical. Any suggestions?

And just as an outcry to my long lost friends (and lately that includes all of you)... I MISS YOU!!! I will have pictures from Florida up here to share very soon and I'm in the process of getting my summer schedule sorted out so maybe I'll actually be able to hang out sometime soon. Until then...

Huggles!
